It seemed magical to me that one could rifle through leaf litter in most any garden and encounter these delightful creatures. They seem somehow too exotic to be present in suburbia. However, one crawled over my desk here once, which I find astonishing in such a grey, plastic corporate environment. No idea where he came from. How wonderful to have such a mini-zoo so near tohand!
