Irby to Pensby

I walked the footpath from Irby to Pensby today. It was very muddy!

  1. It reminds me how different the countryside is in England from both The Highlands and Island and New Zealand.

I know you always have your phone with you but please always make sure you do. When a friend went walking in that very area a few years ago he didn't and he slipped in the mud and was found by good luck. Sorry to be a worrier but your my only Brother!

  2. Blogger's done it again. I don't know which comments have gone and which have not. I wrote a comment with a glaring spelling mistake. I didn't re-read it and pressed the button to send. As I did so I saw the error and was powerless as I watched it disappear. Then Blogger told me that that comment correcting it could not be sent. But it went somewhere. Argh! Now I can't even remember the context but I'm sure it should have been YOU'RE not YOUR.

  4. Found by Good Luck - most people in that situation would be found by a human...! Knowing my luck the mobile would get all muddy and stop working!

  5. I should have mentioned, GB, that it was a spur of the moment decision to hop off the bus and walk across the fields. I was wearing ordinary boots and a pair of trousers that I inherited from you last year. It was my first time of wearing the trousers and they have gone straight into the wash - mud splashed almost to waist height! Next time it's wellies and my stick.

  7. Bummer - I deleted a comment by mistake. Someone called Cynthia left a comment twice and in rejecting one copy of it I managed to reject both. My humble apologies to you Cynthia - please be assured your comment about enjoying this ancient landscape and wanting to visit it again was not thrown in the dustbin on purpose!
