Frog spawn
As I have mentioned before, it has been a most strange year as regards frog spawn. We saw the frogs mating a month ago but there was not sign of spawn. The suddenly, a couple of days ago some spawn appeared. Now there is even spawn in one of the water features.
Yes Pam, Spring has definetly arrived - the blackbirds are singing this morning. I visited your blog when you posted about frogspawn (Your blog is in my side panel as one to visit regularly). I was one of those folk who passed through woithout commenting. There are probably a lot of us lurkers out there!
We have frogspawn too although my cats are eating it - yuck!
ReplyDeleteDid a post on this recently, featuring a brilliant poem on frog spawn by Irish poet Seamus Heaney. It heralds Spring right?
